DBJr is an artist considered himself as versatile and multitask-made, by starting with music, graphic design and illustrating. Born from Geneva, DBJr doesn't only want to represent his city, but also the whole Swiss-French area, by creating a whole universe with his own vision. Musically based on funk, soul and R&B, DBJr also does sub-genres, including new jack swing, a genre popularized by artists like Teddy Riley, Keith Sweat, New Edition, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis... Minneapolis sound, created and popularized by artist Prince, or neo soul, popularized by artists like D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Lauryn Hill, and others. DBJr started music in 2017, and graphic design in 2024. He didn't work with other artists back in the day, but tried to contact with other artists from Geneva, but later abandoned. DBJr started as a beatmaker in 2021 on FL Studio, and work occasionally on Ableton Live since 2025. DBJr has been working in a bunch of unreleased projects since late 2024 and wishes his instrumentals are recorded and vocally completed by other artists.
